The Anavilhanas village lodge its located on the river bank just across the Anavilhanas Archipelago. The lodge has private accommodation with bed, A/C, private bathroom and a great swimming pool available to be used to relax before or after the activities.Â

Tour Itinerary
Day one: 8am transfer hotel- Ceasa – Açutuba – Pousada. The transfer begins going from the hotel to Ceasa port to visit the meeting of the waters (junction of the Negro and Solimões river). After visiting the meeting of the waters, the trip continues for 1.2 hours by car to Açutuba. From this place Village. Arriving to the lodge a welcome drinks will be served with the guests being accommodated shortly thereafter.
Between 2:30pm and 3pm, the activities begin. The group leaves by motorized canoe for piranha fishing and a reconnaissance tour through the Anavilhanas Island and region to learn little about the famous Archipelago of Anavilhanas which is formed by about 400 islands and 60 lakes. Finishing the fishing and the reconnaissance trip and also after watching the sunset from the Middle of the river, the group return to the lodge ending the activities of the first day.
Day Two: At 5:30am (if no rain) begins the first activity of the second day, it’s a short canoe trip to see the nature in the morning. This includes watching the sunrise from the middle of the river and watching species of birds found in the area. After this short trip, the group will return to the lodge and at 6:45am breakfast is served. From 7:45am to 11am, a jungle trekking is done and during this activity, the guide explains about the forest, medicinal plants, spiders and other insects. There is also a chance to see other animals.
Lunch is served at 12pm and there is a little time to rest before starting the other activity.
NOTE:
The swimming pool its always available for the guests  on their free time before or after the activities, they can use it whenever they want.
In the afternoon at 2:45pm, the group is taken to the Other site of the Rio Negro for swim with the Dolphin, birds, a little canoe trip passing by the monkey islands. After finishing these activities when it gets dark, the group will continue the trip doing the cayman (alligator) spotting. The guide catches a cayman using his hands and will explain about it. The members of the group will have chance for pictures and to touch it.
Day Three:Â After breakfast at 8:30am the group will departure to visit the local families (caboclos) to see and learn about the simple and fantastic way of living of the Amazonian people and depending of the day its possible to see the manioc process.
In the afternoon at 2:30pm the group will leave the lodge heading to the forest for a two nights of camping in the jungle. From the Lodge the group goes to the na indigenous village (Tatuios), and getting there two a member from the tribe will be waiting and will Join the group during the whole period of camping in the forest. From the tribe the group Walk in to the forest for about 1,3 hours to reach the point Where the first night will be spent. While in the forest, they will sleep in hammock with mosquito nets which is supplied by the lodge. During the camping in the forest, the guest will spend each night in different a different area.
Days Four and five:Â During the staying (camping) in the forest, the guests will learn how to survive in the forest and together with the tour guide and the indigenous, the food will be prepared. The indigenous will be Leading the group as this parto f the tour its done in the indian area. The guests will learn how to make fire, how to use the water found in the forest for their consumption. This jungle tour its a great opportunity of learning about what goes in the forest at night. They will learn some basic survival techniques and how to find food in the forest. At night it will be possible to learn from the indigenous about their legends and costums which is very importante to understand their way of living in the forest. On the last day, they will return from the forest getting back at the tribe around 10am and gettig there at the tribe the group make a stop to watch the indigenous (dancing) and the guide will be translating the meaning of the ritual (dancing). The guests are allowed taking pictures and making vÃdeos.
After watching the ritual the guesst are taken back to the lodge and getting there the guests can use the swimming pool to relax before or after the lunch..
At 12pm the lunch is served and at 2:20pm begins the journey back to Manaus getting to the city about 4pm.

What to bring for your jungle tour:
Long pants, short pants, long sleeves shirt, t-shirts, Small daypack, sunglasses, insect repellent, rain coat, cap, trekking boots, flashlight, Binoculars, swimming suit, Camera, batteries and charger (there is 110 volt electricity at the lodge.)
Very Important
When travelling to the Amazon and to South America in general, make sure you are vaccinated against yellow fever. Get more information about this from your doctor.
