A minimum of 2 people its required do begins this jungle tour. In case of 1 person, please contact us for availability or for group price.

This is a package made for the people interested in having the maximum of contact with the nature without camping a niht in the forest. In this package, instead of camping a night in the forest, the guests will spend a day in the forest and will make their own lunch in the forest and will return to the lodge in the afternoon getting to the lodge about 5pm to 5:30pm.

Trip Itinerary

Day one: At 8am the group is transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat is used to take visitors to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Negro river and the Solimões river meet. From there they are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river. From there the journey continues by car or by van for about an hour to the beginning of Maçarico lake. From there, another speed-boat takes the group to the lodge on a 15 minutes ride getting to the lodge 11am.

Lunch is served at 12:30pm and the afternoon activity starts between 2:30pm to 3pm. It is a canoe trip for dolphins and birds watching, piranha fishing and finally the watching of the sunset at about 6:30pm. Dinner is served at 7pm and then at about 8:30pm cayman spotting is done. Everyone leaves in a motorized canoe and the guide literally snatches a cayman out of the water. After giving a thorough explanation about the reptile it is returned to its habitat.

Day two: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day.  At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys.

The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing (paddling) through the flooded forest and the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle.

Day Three: After breakfast, the group leaves for the camping in the florest and the group will carry things to make their own food (lunch) in the forest. During the camping, they will how to make fire and make their own food in the forest and also some survival techniques of how to survive in the forest. The group will learn how to find food and water in case of getting lost in the forest. In the afternoon about 4:30pm, the group will do the jouney back to the lodge doing stops os the way for watching animals such as Birds, Monkeys and Other animals from the region getting back to the lodge Around 5:30pm.

Day Four: After having breakfast, the group goes to visit the home of a local Family (caboclos house) to see and learn their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest and returning to the lodge about 11am. After lunch at about 1:30pm, the group begins the journey back to Manaus getting to the city about 4:30pm.

What to bring for your jungle tour:
Long pants, short pants, long sleeves shirt, t-shirts, Small daypack, sunglasses, insect repellent, rain coat, cap, boot or tennis shoes, flashlight, Binoculars, swimming suit, Camera, batteries and charger (there is 110 volt electricity.
