Trip Itinerary
On this tour, there is a visiting to the meeting of the waters, piranha fishing, spear fishing at night, dolphin watching, sunrise and sunset watching, jungle trekking, cayman spotting in the evening and visiting the local people (caboclos). In the rainy season from (from April to August), it is possible to do canoeing (paddling) Through the flooded forest and in small channels (creeks). During this tour (package), the two nights are spent at the lodge in private room.
Day One: At 8am is the transfer from the hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat is used to take visitors to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Negro river and the Solimões river meet. From there they are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river. From there the journey continues by car or by van for about an hour to the Paraná do Mamori River. From there another speed-boat takes the group to the Juma Floating lodge arriving there at about 11:30am.
At 2:30pm, the activities begin. The group leaves by canoe to do the dolphin watching, bird watching, piranha fishing, and sunset watching about 6:30pm. After dinner cayman spotting its done by canoe.
Day two: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys.
The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle.
Day Three: From 8am to 11am, the group goes to visit a local family to see and learn their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest. After visiting the locals, the group returns to the lodge and at about1:30pm the journey back to Manaus begins there at about 4:30pm.

How to pack
Long pants, short pants, long sleeves shirt, t-shirts, small daypack, sunglasses, insect repellent, rain coat, cap, boot or tennis shoes, flashlight, binoculars, swimming suit, camera, batteries and charger.
