This Jungle tour is in the southernarea of Manausd in the Juma área.Its usually done  from September to March when the water level in the rivers is at its lowest. It is recommended for people who are interested in exploring the Amazon jungle doing long trekkings and camping out in the forest.

Be aware:
This tour its recommended for people who are interested in haven close contact with by doing long trekkingand camping out two nights n the forest. Rain is not na pbstacle and comfort is extremely precarious. Everyone must also be aware of the intense heat and humidity which dominate the jungle. There is no helper so everyone must take along their belongings; Boots, pants, hammocks, nets, raincoats etc. Food is divided and each person must take along his share. Food is light and is usually consisted of carbohydrates and proteins.Heavy and bulky food is not recommended as trekking is usually long. Drinking water is obtained from creeks but it purified by a water purifier which is taken along.

Piranha fishing, nocturnal spear fishing and caymanspotting, dolphin whatching, Sunrise ans sunset watching, a two-day trekking, spending two nights out in the forest and visiting the local people.

Trip Itinerary

Day one; Tour starts at 8am when clients are taken from their hotel to the Ceasa port, 15 kilometers away from the city center. From there they are taken by speedboat to the meeting of the waters; The junction where the Solimoes riverand the Negro river meet. Crossing over to the other side of the river, the group gets into a van at a place called Careiro. After a 50 minutes ride they arrive at the Paraná do Mamori River. Getting into another boat, they are taken to the lodge after after a 30 minutes ride. Lunch is served at 12:30pm. At 2:30pm the group leaves in a canoe to watch dolphins, birds and fish for piranha. From the middle of the lake the sunset is appreciated at about 6:30pm. Dinner is served a 7pm. After dinner cayman spotting is done. From the boat, the guide grabs a cayman, (not a big one of course) by the neck and brings it into the canoe. After photos and a short lecture it is returned to its habitat.

Day two: At 5:30am the group leaves by canoe to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day. Back at the lodge breakfast is served at 7am.

From 8am to 11:30am a recognition trekking is done in the forest. Heat, humidity, thirst, all is felt. Not forgetting the information about the forest that is passed on. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and animals. At 2:45pm, the group and equipment are taken to the place where trekking starts. Getting there, they settle down for the first night camping in the forest. After dinner which is prepared by the guide, the group leaves to do the spear fishing in a canoe. Getting back at the camp they turn in.


 Day Three and Four: In the morning on the third day, the group begins the two-day trekking. The chances of seeing animals and birds are great. Techniques of how to find food and make fire will be shown to the group. The experience of life in the jungle is greatly felt. On the fourth day trekking end at about 3pmat a point where a guide waits to take the group back to the lodge. No activity is done for the rest of the day.

Day Five: After breakfast the group leaves in a motorized canoe to visit a local family. This happens from 8am to 11am. It’s the time when the way of living of the locals is seen and felt. It’s then finds out how important the forest and the rivers are for the survival of those who live there. After lunch at 1:30pm the group returns to Manaus. Arrival time is about 4:30pm, and the tour ends when everyone is taken back to their hotel.
